Box Office 9/26

Another week of BO predictions:

I am going to side with the obvious choice for the top spot this weekend with Eagle Eye. Shia's on a hot streak with 3 straight hits, and this one should be no different (especially with the director of Disturbia behind the camera). My guess is it'll take around $28 million.

Other noisemakers this weekend are Nights of Rodanthe (which couldn't look less interesting) and Miracle at St. Anna, the Spike Lee directed 2 and a half hour epic. Because of bad reviews, I'll say Miracle will finish with $11 million. Rodanthe will take #2 with $13 million.

The movie I'm most looking forward to this weekend is Choke. Since I read the book, I've been tracking this project since the casting (which appears to be excellent). I hope the movie doesn't disappoint. Not being a wide release, it won't make the top ten.
